Samantha and Carlo have truly magical relationship. Since the day they met they have been inseparable. Carlo proposed to Samantha at Disneyland in front of family and friends. Here is a link to their amazing love story that our film maker Robert Cabrera filmed for them to display at their reception.
Samantha surprised Carlo with customized cuff links to wear for the wedding with his tux one said “C + S 09/19/15” and the other said “I’ll love you forever” along with a letter. Samantha also gave him a custom boudoir photo album done by yours truly, Norma Cabrera. Carlo had no idea about it and was shocked! She actually had to take a day off from work to do it. The book said “Samantha Dias” on the cover.Carlo and Samantha are so thoughtful that they wanted to make sure they enjoyed their big day to the fullest. So with out seeing each other we managed to get a sweet moment before the ceremony.Of course we had to have some fun with the bridesmaids shot!Carlo painted their initials on a tree so that Samantha would see it as she was walking down the aisle. This necklace was given to Carlo’s daughter symbolizing that now they become one family. As well as the sand stones will blend together as one.A mickey and minnie were placed in front view of the ceremony to witness their matrimony. Representing their engagement at Disneyland.I always get asked if I shoot Family portraits? Of course I do! Must have shots are always a priority to me. Look at this beautiful new family! Bride requested a generation hand picture, those hands tell stories of their lives and I love it.For our guest sign in, instead of the usual book signing, they had a tree made with their initials on the trunk and 2 birds on a branch representing them. One with a veil and one with a top hat. We put a red fingerprint on there while all of our guests put their fingerprints in 2 different color blues for the leaves. They were so happy they did this, looking at the tree now makes them smile and brings them so much joy.Samantha and Carlo custom ordered 8 huge canvases of their engagement session that we shot in San Francisco. They were displayed along the back wall as art canvas. They looked stunning! In their “in loving memory area” they had 3 canvas pictures of us that represented family members who have passed away. One represented Samantha’s 2 grandpas and 1 of Carlo’s grandpas which was the one that they had an acores throbe wrapeed around both of them. Another of them holding a balloon represented Samantha’s baby cousin, and the final one represented Carlo’s aunt, uncle and cousins. In the middle of these canvas’s they hung up an old antique window that belonged to the family of 4 that passed away, and Carlo made a sign that said love on the window and below it said “we know you would be here today if heaven wasn’t so far away”. Really meant a lot to the bride and groom. At the wedding Carlo mentioned in his speech, that because he is so happy with Samantha, he has the desire to paint again. He surprised Samantha’s parents with a painting. On the painting it said “Agape” which is the highest form of love in the bible. He thanked them for having Samantha. Carlo also surprised Samantha with a painting. It was a silhouette of them kissing on the dance floor for their first dance. She was amazed by the painting and how much it resembeled them that night. She loved it!!!The night was full of sweet moments and emotions. Everybody shared laughgs and tears as they watched their love story film produced by our filmaker Robert Cabrera. There has to be a sweet bar at a sweet wedding.Signature drinks for the ladies!!
