I loved shooting at Oceano Hotel in Half Moon bay! It’s a one stop venue with rooms for all your guests and plenty of ballrooms for your ceremony, cocktail and reception area. They also have a beautiful lawn area if you would like an outside ceremony or cocktail time. A short walk accroos the street is the Marina docks and home of the Maverick waves. Gina and Mike grew up in Half Moon Bay and went to Highschool together but they didn’t really know each other until 10 years ago they met at a mutual friends party and have been together since then. They had their son Brody 4 years into their relationship which was the best thing that happend to them and they became a family. Gina would ask Mike “So are we getting married?,… so, when are we getting married?” LOL. Eventually Gina got tired of asking and when she least expected it their son Brody asked her while on vacation in Maui on Valentines day February 2015. He came out in his pajamas with a little box and handed it to her and said “will you marry daddy?” Gina was in total shock and Mike got down on one knee and popped the question. I absolutely adore everything about this bohemian styled family maternity session. I love the organic natural look that this country scene brings to their styled shoot. I have been shooting Selene for for several years already. I initially met her when I shot her boudoir session for her anniversary gift to her husband. Then I had the privilage of documenting her first maternity as well as her baby’s newborn and birthday shoot as well and can’t wait to shoot her little princess newborn shoot as well.

Tatiana is the cutest and sweetest little girl I’ve meet. Besides my daughter of course, LOL. Tatiana is 2 years old and we celebrated her birthday with a country lifestyle photo shoot that her parents will cherish forever. I always tell my clients that these years will never come back again and I highly encourage them to shoot their children at least once a year besides their traditional family portrait. Tatiana had a fabulous time playing princess, blowing bubbles and she even got a big treat at the end! So in love with this cutie pie, she calls me “tia Norma”.
