Thirteen year photos Knights Ferry, CA: Alexa

Alexa was a joy to photograph. She just turned 13 years old and she was very excited to get a photo shoot to document her first year as a teenager. I loved her style and her choice in outfits. Her country mustard floral dress with her mothers cowboy boots were a perfect match to go with the beautiful nature backgrounds of knights ferry, CA. Carmel Mission Wedding Elopement: Mirella + Jose

I absolutely love shooting at missions especially at Carmel’s Mission San Carlos Borromeo del rio Carmelo. It’s absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous. Mirella and Jose had a very intimate elopement wedding. But they for sure knew they wanted to shoot their wedding photos at the beautiful Carmel Mission. We strolled around and got some gorgeous images for them and then we head down the street to Carmel river state beach. They were such sweethearts to shoot and they surprised me by ending their session in the water! Did not expect it, but I loved it!

Yosemite National Park Winter Maternity: Shirley + Eric

Yosemite took my breath away. I had been here a few times before 10 years ago yes a decade ago. My lovely clients drove up from the LA area for me to document their maternity session. They originally wanted a winter wonderland vision and I quickly suggested Yosemite. They were all for it and very excited. As the day was approaching we noticed they were several major storms coming in and that they were bringing in major floods to the park which were going to cause closer on the day of their shoot. So we rushed over before the storm hit Yosemite. I had never shot there believe it or not and I fell in love. I was so giddy that the freezing temperatures didn’t bother me. My clients kept shivering and my husband and son complaining but I was seeing sun rays and rainbows. Enjoy!
